There’s a grocery shop, a mini market, and a lovely central square with big shady plane trees, traditional cafés and a couple of taverns, all just a few minutes’ walk away. When you want the beach, Kalyves is only about 10 minutes by car (5.5 km), with a beautiful sandy beach, clear blue water and all the facilities you need. Kalyves town has ATM, school, buses and everything for day-to-day life. Chania city is about 25 minutes away.
