Kefalas is renowned for having the best climate in the area due to its high altitude, and also the best views. The sandy beaches of Kalives, Almyrida or Georgioupoulis are approximately 15/20 minutes scenic drive, or the Turquoise Bay is approx. 10 minutes. Chania airport is approx. 45 minutes drive away.
